Biography
Katya is a movement director, model, and contemporary dancer based between Sydney and London.
After completing full-time studies in ballet and contemporary dance, she gained entry to the professional dance scene in Europe. She signed as a model with Priscillas in Sydney, Established in London, and other agencies across Europe and Japan. In 2020, she founded a nonprofit contemporary dance company called Configuration Co.
Now, Katya brings her expertise in creative direction and choreography into the realms of fashion and film.
Work
With an elegant and passionate approach, Katya creates work that is unique, unusual yet relatable.
Movement is about how ones shape, form, gesture or expression interprets and embodies a feeling that can be emitted from page to person.
Personal intrigue and curiosity of non verbal human communication is at the root of all Katyas work.
